St. Michael’s Theatre Department presents an annual musical. The cast usually consists of over 40 students, ranging from 3rd grade through 8th grade. They perform two nights and a Sunday Matinee to sell-out audiences.
Students who participate in the musical must have a strong commitment to the rehearsal time which occurs daily, after school, over three months’ time. Our theatre presentation uses sets, props, costumes, make-up, lighting, and a “green room,” all components of professional theatre.
Beginning with our inaugural show, “How to Eat Like a Child,” in 2008, St. Michael’s has been committed to presenting high-quality musical theater performances each winter in our Student Center facility.
Our shows have included:
“The Lion King” – 2018
